Creator Handbook

To start as a creator, you need a VANKRA account and a linked Gamertag.

• 1Create an account or log in.
• 2Go to your profile and link your Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam ID.
• 3Open the 'Creator Studio' via the navigation or go to /create.

Sharing your highlights is easy. We support the most common formats.

• Formats: MP4, MOV, WebM.
• Max file size: 500 MB per video.
• Simply drag & drop your file into the upload zone.
• Preview: You can watch your video before publishing.
• Thumbnails: We automatically generate a thumbnail from the first few frames.

Don't have recording software? Use our built-in recorder.

• Choose between 'Camera' or 'Screen'.
• Toggle your microphone and camera on/off.
• Record your gameplay or commentary directly.
• After recording, you can immediately upload the result.

Good metadata helps people find your videos.

• Title: Make it catchy but relevant.
• Description: Explain what happens in the video.
• Tags: Use up to 8 tags to categorize your content.

You decide who sees your content.

• Public: Published and visible on the Videos page and your profile.
• Unlisted/Private: Hidden from search and public lists. Only you can see it.
• Drafts: Videos that aren't finished yet are saved as drafts.

In the 'Your Content' section of the Creator Studio, you have full control.

• Publish: Make your drafts public.
• Hide: Change visibility to private.
• Delete: Permanently remove a video.
• Watch: View your own video page.

Every published video gets its own unique page.

• URL format: vankra.com/videos/[id].
• Share: Use the share button to copy the link for social media.

In the future, creators will be able to earn through memberships and support from fans.

• Consequences: Violations lead to content removal or account suspension.

Respect the work of others.

• Only upload content you created or have permission for.
• Game footage is generally allowed per publisher policies.
